Brushing Teeth

This video was taken in January 0f 2012, during a trip to Northstar at Tahoe to ski.  Brushing teeth for Laine involved following a carefully drawn up SOP.  She was systematic, and thorough.  When she was at home, the routine was even more involved.  She had an old toothbrush that had a timer on it (one minute, dings, then another minute, dings).  After the toothbrush became not useable as a toothbrush (the bristles were flattened by the enthusiastic brushing of our daughter), Laine continued to use it as a timer while she would use a fresh toothbrush.  I was in awe of her diligence at such a young age.

Laine was ultra organized for her age.  She kept her toys, clothes and shoes in order.  She labeled drawers.  She diligently recorded the experiences of her life in drawings, videos, pictures and music.
