Laine inspired so many loved ones, friends and family, to donate to the Laine Fund. Anna and I directed the money collected to a highly worthy organization called There with Care.

– Dedication of WVLO Musical Theater Company’s Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Jesus Chris Superstar” on March 16th, 2014. Set up by Claire Lawrence. “I know a group from St. Bede’s is coming to see “Jesus Christ Superstar” this Sunday, and with the staff’s permission and encouragement, we’ll be dedicating the show to Laine if it’s something you think appropriate. To me, “Jesus Christ Superstar” is a show about love, hope, and sacrifice, as well as the promise of the resurrection. The cast has been very supportive and loved seeing photos and hearing stories of Laine. Many of them have been praying for you and your family during this time. I plan on sharing a few photos and stories of her when the cast circles up backstage before the show. If you wanted to send any of your favorite shots or stories, I would be happy to share them with the group. We’d also be happy to announce the dedication to the audience before the show.” Mathew arrived early, and went back stage to meet and speak with the cast members.
– The wonderful and warm community at St Bede’s. St Bede’s Lenten Coin Drive, all funds donated to the Laine Fund, with money to be directed to There with Care.
– Cancer Walk, Harker, Patricia Burrows and Mathew’s Harker Advisory. “Dearest Mathew, On Wednesday when we worked on the Cancer Walk panel, we wanted to dedicate the artwork in memory of beloved sister Laine. We spent some time talking about her beautiful and exuberant spirit, and this is the final product. I wanted to share it with you so that you know that you have been in our thoughts and are here for you. Regards, Mrs. Burrows and your fellow advisees.”
