Mathew and Laine at Kepler’s Book Store in Menlo Park

Laine and Mathew at Kepler’s book store.  We often had dinner at Cafe Barrone, and would browse books at Kepler’s right after before coming home.   It’s a wonderful little book store.  Here Laine has brought Curious George, and has him propped up so that she can read to him. She’s reading loudly (largely making it up as she goes).  And she’s reading Curious George to Curious George, of course, believing that she is telling him about his past adventures before he came to live with Laine instead of the Man with the Yellow Hat.
